Nicholas Krgovich streams new track "The Place Goes Quiet"

Nicholas Krgovich, will be releasing his forthcoming full-length, The Hills, on March 4th. Today, he has shared the lead track “The Place Goes Quiet”, which you can listen to below.

An avid gardener, Krgovich came up with the song idea while he was writing at a relative’s cottage, following the satisfaction freshly cut of grass and the beautiful view it provided over the property beside a nearby lake. The effect reminded him of the fancy free nature of shopping on Rodeo Drive and the street photography of the time. “I didn’t mean for this to be like a D-grade “Steppin’ Out” but that’s what I ended up with,” explained Krgovich.

As the final installment of his LA-inspired trilogy, The Hills complements its predecessors On Sunset, and On Cahuenga. The Hills includes mini-mixes from the sister albums, and previously unreleased material from the original On Sunset recording sessions – you may have caught the short video for ‘Backlot Detail’ which came with the announcement of the impending album.
