Mura Masa "No Hope Generation"

UK producer, songwriter and vocalist Mura Masa, has shared a new music video for “No Hope Generation.” The video was directed by Yoni Lappin and was shot earlier this year in Serbia. “No Hope Generation” is the latest single from Mura Masa’s second album R.Y.C (Raw Youth Collage) set for release January 17, 2020 on Geffen Records.

“No Hope Generation” follows R.Y.C’s debut single “I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again” with Clairo, which was released earlier this fall. The album features a variety of guests including slowthai, Tirzah, Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice, Georgia and Mura Masa himself stepping out as lead-vocalist. Recorded over the past year in London and beyond, R.Y.C explores the music Mura Masa—23-year-old songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Alex Crossan—grew up on the tiny, remote British isle of Guernsey. He pays homage to and inverts new wave, punk, folk and 90s rave, thoroughly investigating nostalgia as a concept.
