Monograms 'Only A Ceiling Can Stay Inside Forever'

Brooklyn band, Monograms is donating 50% of all sales from their new album Only A Ceiling Can Stay Inside Forever to Know Your Rights Camp, an organization whose “mission is to advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.” PaperCup Music will also be matching every donation. The album is now available for pre-sale on Bandcamp now.

Monograms, whose music is described as “Nuke Wave,” is the alias of front-man and multi-instrumentalist Ian Jacobs. Over the past few years, the project quickly expanded from a Brooklyn, NYC bedroom recording experiment to a full band endeavor; current lineup includes Ali Yildiz (drums), Michelle Feliciano (synth) and Devan Davies-Wood (bass). Only A Ceiling Can Stay Inside Forever Produced and Mixed by Ian Jacobs at Hemlock House All songs written, arranged and performed by Monograms at Hemlock House, (with the exception of guitars on Track 8 and 14 recorded by Ben Rice at Degraw Sound.
