“Mirage” by Alexandra Savior

Portland native Alexandra Savior has shared another unique and cinematic video, this time for her latest release “Mirage.” Out now on all digital platforms, the new single is taken from her forthcoming debut album “Belladonna of Sadness,” which drops worldwide April 7th on Columbia Records.

The video, which stars Savior herself, was shot in Los Angeles and directed by London based visual artist Irrum.

The 21-year-old will be taking her live band on the road making stops at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX, Bonnaroo Festival and Boston Calling, Primavera Sound plus headlining shows in London, Paris and Berlin this April.

Alexandra’s unique sound and style first caught the attention of several creative forces including T. Bone Burnett who placed her song, “Risk,” in the most recent season of HBO’s cult series, “True Detective.” In addition to this Alexandra also co-wrote the most recent Last Shadow Puppets’ single, “Miracle Aligner” along with the erstwhile Arctic Monkey, Alex Turner.

An artist in every sense of the word, not only does Alexandra Savior write music and perform live, she also paints her own artwork and writes, directs and edits her own music videos. “Belladonna of Sadness” was written Alexandra and co-produced by British rock front-man Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys/Last Shadow Puppets) and James Ford (Haim/Florence and the Machine).
