“On My Mind” by The Spitfires

The Spitfires have revealed the video for their new single “On My Mind”. The track is the follow up to their Single “So Long” and is available off their forthcoming second album A Thousand Times.

Commenting on the song and video, front man Billy Sullivan said: “This track was one of the first songs to be written for the album. In fact it was written just before our debut album came out. It’s been getting a fantastic response live, with people singing the chorus back before it’s even been released. The recording has a great ‘live’ feel to it, which is why we chose to do a very simple music video in a rehearsal room, which to me captures the essence of the song.”

Typical of their no-nonsense approach both to their finely tuned song writing and their knife-edge honed live show, it’s a focused and simple look at the band at work, with “On My Mind” serving as a classic pop anthem that recalls the best of the 60s and early 90s with a vital, revitalising injection of spirited youth.
