MIKE has dropped a new video for two songs from his recently released album Disco! “Aww (Zaza)” and “Ghoulish,” two standouts from the LP. The videos were directed by, frequent MIKE collaborator Ryosuke Tanzawa. The first half was shot on Mini DV, and the second half was shot on 8 millimeter film. The video captures a day in the life for MIKE in his hometown. MIKE will hit the road for a run of global dates, starting October 14th in Washington, DC, other highlights include Third Man Records and Governors Ball Music Festival in NYC on September 25th.

In addition to the new video MIKE is also announcing that BABYXSOSA and Sideshow will join the US leg of the tour, as well as two special shows in Los Angeles and New York City. On August 24th the group will perform at The Echo in LA alongside Slauson Malone, and on October 30th they will play SOBs in New York City alongside Sister Nancy.

Over the past year MIKE immersed himself in electronic and house music as well as bossa nova. He released two largely instrumental projects partially inspired by these new influences: BLP2020 “King of the Night” and BLP2021 “for ur own good.”
