Mick Jenkins, has welcomed 2020 by announcing his new EP The Circus, which arrives this Friday, January 10th, via Cinematic Music Group. The album, is the follow-up to his 2018 release Pieces of a Man. Jenkins describes the EP best: “As a direct prelude to my forthcoming album, The Circus EP is a body of work about just that. These days it’s very hard to look at the state of the world and popular culture and not see allegory that makes this metaphor our reality more often than not.”

Along with all the news, Jenkins has released the Jack Begert-directed video for “Carefree.” The Circus features EarthGang, production from Hit-Boy, Black Milk, Da-P, and more. The EP also arrives ahead of Mick Jenkins’ North American tour with EarthGang kicking off next week in Seattle. Tickets are available here.
