Beloved New York City collective MICHELLE, have announced their new album AFTER DINNER WE TALK DREAMS, the full-length will drop on January 28th, 2022 via Canvasback Music and Transgressive in the UK. Along with the news, MICHELLE has shared a video for the lead single “SYNCOPATE”. The track features previous singles “Sunrise,” “Unbound,” and “FYO,”

MICHELLE shares, “The song at its core is about desire. Communicating your desire can feel vulnerable, so we wanted to have some fun with that and show our funky and seductive side. It really feels like we’re hitting the street for the first time by putting this song out into the world.”

Born-and-bred New Yorkers, MICHELLE formed in 2018 and is comprised of Sofia D’Angelo, Julian Kaufman, Charlie Kilgore, Layla Ku, Emma Lee and Jamee Lockard. The predominantly POC and queer collective mix and match the writing and production groups amongst the six of them.

Following the album announcement the band will be on tour with Arlo Parks for a string of dates across the US starting in their home city of New York on Sept 21st followed by a tour with Gus Dapperton in November. The band will also be headlining their first show in Los Angeles on October 13th at El Cid and today they are announcing a run of headline UK and European dates, beginning in Dublin Ireland on February 5th 2022.
