METZ available in North America / Europe October 9th & In UK October 15th via Sub Pop

Toronto-based METZ have scheduled more tour dates this fall to support their self-titled, full-length debut, available this October via Sub Pop.

The newly minted tour, which will take the band to cities in Canada, the western US, and the UK, will begin on October 6 in Ottawa, ON at Babylon and end November 12 in Denver, CO at Larimer Lounge. Meanwhile, the previously announced August 23-September 1 trek will have the band visit cities in the Midwestern and Northeastern portion of the US. Additionally, the band will perform September 20-21 in Montreal, QC at Pop Montreal. A full list of tour dates is below.

METZ will be available October 9th in North America & Europe, and October 15th in the UK, on CD, LP, and through digital providers. The album features 10 tracks including the lead single, “Headache,” along with standouts “Wet Blanket,”  “Knife in the Water” and “Negative Space.” The album was produced by METZ, and recorded by Graham Walsh (Holy Fuck) at Barn Window and Basketball 4 Life, and Alexandre Bonenfant at Dreamhouse Studios.
