Metronomy has shared the single “Wedding Bells” The track follows previous releases “Walking In The Dark,” “Salted Caramel Ice Cream,” and “Lately.” The singles arrives ahead of their first full UK/EU headlining tour this Fall, and off their forthcoming release Metronomy Forever, due out September 13th.

Metronomy Forever was made after frontman Joseph Mount moved from the bustling cityscapes of Paris to a calm residence in the English countryside, the album is a visceral reflection of his transition. Spanning 17 songs, the album glides seamlessly between glistening ambient tracks to shimmering rock to funk-fueled pop. A gentle reminder to embrace the full spectrum of the human experience told through the band’s signature sparkling indie-pop lens. Metronomy Forever is the band’s first in three years and follows 2016’s Summer 08 and Mount’s expansive production work on Robyn’s full-length, Honey.

Joseph Mount on the album:

“What happens is when you’re making music and you enter a world where you have achieved some sort of celebrity no matter how large or small you start to think about yourself in terms of legacy and what you’re going to leave behind and then you realise that’s limited to the interest people have in you. In the end I feel completely comfortable with it. The less importance you place in any art the more interesting it can become in a way…I’m making music, I’m going to do some concerts, I need to feed my children.”
