Maxo Shares New Album “Debbie’s Son” With Upcoming Tour Dates
Just seven months after releasing his sophomore album Even God Has A Sense Of Humor, Maxo shares his new album Debbie’s Son via his own SMILEFORME label. Maxo began teasing the new album earlier this month with the release of his energetic single “PlayDis!” that features Detroit’s very own Zelooperz. Debbie’s Son features production from lastnamedavid, The Alchemist, Henry Was, Beat Butcha, Alexander Spit, Ahwlee, and more.
The new album finds Maxo continuing down the path of exploration that initially began to manifest during the creation process of Even God Has A Sense Of Humor. After taking more than 4 years between the releases of his debut Lil Big Man and his aforementioned sophomore album, Maxo is harnessing a liberating new burst of creativity that feels simultaneously urgent and spontaneous on Debbie’s Son.
Starting November 11th, Maxo will embark on his North American tour, “A Friend Of Mine,” featuring special guest Sideshow. His first stop will coincide with this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles, with the rapper making his way to Brooklyn, Montreal, Portland, San Francisco and more.
