Man/Woman/Chainsaw have dropped new song “Get Up and Dance”, featuring Emmie-Mae Avery on lead vocals, the track is off the UK band’s debut LP Cannonball, available August 7th on Fiction Records (The Cure, St. Vincent, Billie Marten). Man/Woman/Chainsaw have also recently announced their first ever US headline shows. The dates will follow a run of UK/EU festivals and headline performances.

From Emmie-Mae: “In my mind it’s set in a club, where you spot someone who’s been trying their luck with different people all night and decide to turn the game back on them. It starts playful but then takes a forceful approach, as you push them to prove their interest and test how far they’ll go, aiming to have them make a fool of themselves.”

Man/Woman/Chainsaw includes: Billy Ward (vocals, guitars), Emmie-Mae Avery (vocals, keys/synths), Vera Leppänen (vocals, bass), Clio Starwood (violin).
Lola Cherry (drums), Billy Doyle (guitars).

The band recorded Cannonball with Seth Evans (Geordie Greep, Black Midi) and Margo Broom (Fat White Family, Big Joanie).
