Lucern Raze Share Single “Stockholm Syndrome”

Lucern Raze Share Single "Stockholm Syndrome," from their album 'Stockholm One,'

Lucern Raze, the Stockholm based UK garage pop act is just about to release their debut album Stockholm One next week on PNKSLM Recordings/Burger Records. After releasing singles “Sunshine Blues” and “Someone Like You” Lucern Raze has shared a third one, the garage rocker “Stockholm Syndrome”. Following the album release, Lucern Raze will play in London, UK on March 7, followed by shows at SXSW and Burgerama.

Lucern Raze is the new project from Luke of London’s Sex Beet, following some badly recorded singles, and three years spent going wild around Europe and America with acts like Thee Oh Sees, Black Lips and Best Coast. In the midst of recording their debut album in Berlin with King Khan guitarist/singer Luke lost his god-damn mind and moved from London to Stockholm, Sweden where he’s spent the past few years being broke as hell, working every job imaginable, as well as starting up PNKSLM Recordings.

Deserted in the Midsummer ghost town of Stockholm in the summer of 2014 Luke spent 12 days writing, recording and mixing an album under the name Lucern Raze. The first taste of these recordings came in the form of the “Sunshine Blues” single on 7” vinyl and digital via PNKSLM Recordings last summer. The debut album Stockholm One is due on February 25 via PNKSLM Recordings on limited edition vinyl and digitally, as well as on cassette via Burger Records.
