“Low Life” by Baby in Vain

Ahead of their European tour, which begins in the UK on 1st October, Copenhagen’s Baby In Vain have shared the stunning video for “Low Life”. A highlight from their recently released debut album More Nothing, the brooding track is now accompanied by cinematic visuals, directed by young Danish director Rasmus K. Peterson. The video depicts the confusing, intense and often overwhelming emotions attached to young love.

Of the video, drummer Benedicte Pierleoni told The Fader: "We wanted to do something that was completely different from visuals we'd done in the past. We contacted Rasmus after watching a beautiful video he directed for another Copenhagen band, Sjæl I Flammer. He liked our song and was up for doing the video, so we gave him 100% artistic freedom. We absolutely love what he came up with and we're very happy with how it turned out!". Baby In Vain celebrated the release of their debut album with shows at Reading and Leeds Festivals, shows at Rough Trade stores around the UK.

Baby In Vain’s UK headline tour starts next week on 1st October at Newcastle’s Underground and includes a show at London’s Camden Assembly, before finishing up at Oxford’s Ritual Union festival, alongside Peace and Black Honey. The trio then head to Europe for a tour
alongside US noise-band A Place To Bury Strangers.
