Multi-instrumentalist and producer lophiile has shared a video for “My Side,” the clip was directed by rubberband. (Jason Filmore Sondock and Simon Davis), produced by No Tricks, and written by Tal Midy and Bryan Wolff, plays out like a documentary. The visual is a touching exploration on love through the eyes of various protagonists. The video is off his latest EP To Forgive, which was released via Blue Note Records.

Coinciding with the video. lophiile is also announcing a headlining North American tour. The Drip Tour will kick off November 7th in Seattle, with stops in Los Angeles and Chicago, before concluding November 23rd in Brooklyn. He’s also set to perform at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival as a member of contemporary R&B trio Radiant Children, who released their debut EP TRYIN’ in 2018.

The To Forgive EP opens the door to the next stage of lophiile’s career as he solidifies himself as a torchbearer for a generation of producers melding jazz, hip-hop and R&B sounds. In line with his vision for the project, each of the EP’s five songs offers a distinct tangible experience in the form of an accompanying visual art piece.
