49th & Main are welcoming the new year with new single, “LIVE 4 THE WEEKEND,” the track is now available via Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records. Speaking on the new single, the duo say, “We started the idea for this song after a heavy weekend in London. In Ireland we often judge how good of a night we’ve had by how hungover we are the following morning, and let’s just say we had a great night. So the idea is fueled by equal parts “I’m never drinking again” and “when do we get to do that again. We put the finishing touches to the track during our Song-a-day charity challenge in November. We put it out on our Soundcloud and people immediately were asking for it to be fully finished and released. So we did!”

49th & Main recently shared a series of singles created daily throughout November last year to raise €5,000 for Pieta House, an Irish suicide prevention charity. The duo documented the song-making process and shared content on milestone events, exceeding their fundraising goal for the charity that provides free, life-saving services. The duo have played shows at Olympia Theatre, a sold-out debut North American tour, and appearances at Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, and The Great Escape.

49th & Main is currently embarking on a World Tour which kicked off on the 31st December 2025 at Beyond The Valley festival in Australia. It’ll make its way through Dublin, Manchester, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York City and more before concluding 8th April in Toronto.
