Little Dragon, have returned with their joyous, new single “Slugs Of Love”, a song they say they imagine “being played by a bunch of youngsters with rubberboots in different sparkling colors.” Released today, it comes alongside an official video directed by Unlimited Time Only (who have previously worked with Khruangbin, Leon Bridges, Teva and more) and featuring the band themselves.

“When we first heard ‘Slugs of Love’ it was very early in the morning and we were still in bed. The energy of it jolted us awake. We wanted to create a video that embodied that “I just gotta move!” feeling. Dance like no one is watching – even when someone is. Visually we wanted to mash up classic pop art aesthetics with 90’s fisheye style music videos, and then stretch that combination to its absolute limit. The track, their ‘Opening The Door’ EP — which featured a collaboration with respected East Atlanta rapper JID (signed with J. Cole’s Dreamville label), and coincided with a tour across the US and Canada alongside Leon Bridges, playing to a total iconic venues including The Forum (LA), Forest Hills (NYC) and Scotiabank Arena (Toronto).
