Lindsey Troy, singer and guitarist, known as one half of the Los Angeles indie rock duo Deap Vally, has released her debut solo single, “I’ve Seen The Willow Trees.” The track is accompanied by a video, filmed at Our Little Treehouse, Troy’s home studio in Los Angeles’ Eagle Rock neighborhood. It’s the same studio where the track was recorded along with John Stavas (Bass, Synth/Programming) and Dave Zeger (Cello).

Troy’s solo debut reveals a different side of the artist, combining her unique vocal style and fingerpicking on a 1970s mustang melodic cello lines, paired with electronic drum loops and synth lines. Fans of Deap Vally will easily gravitate to the sound and warmth of “I’ve Seen The Willow Trees.”
