UK, duo Ardyn, recently released their new single “Life Happens.” In true Ardyn fashion, the band explore a transcendence beyond themselves. The was song inspired by the word “sonder” that Rob Pearson came across while reading the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows blog. The word is defined as the realization that each and every person is living a life as vivid and complex as your own – populated by their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness. It perfectly illustrates the band’s time spent between their hometown of Stroud and recording in London, and the transitory feelings between those two worlds.

In between producing Everything Everything’s latest album and Declan McKenna’s debut, James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Haim, Jessie Ware, Florence and the Machine) applies his undeniable production talents to “Life Happens.” “Life Happens” revisits the wandering excursions of Help Me On My Way from the band’s debut EP.
