“Let It Go” By American Culture

American Culture have signed with Convulse Records roster, and today they’re announcing their new album, Hey Brother, It’s Been A While, which drops on May 3, 2024. Fear not, the band have also shared lead-single “Let It Go,” the track features Midwife’s Madeline Johnston. Hey Brother, It’s Been A While is described as a record of punk psychedelia, combined with a real humanity and compassion that’s been hard earned through life and death stakes.

Recorded by James Barone (the drummer of Beach House and Tennis, who has also produced/engineered work by artists like Hatchie and Nathaniel Rateliff), Hey Brother, It’s Been Awhile effortlessly weaves the band’s many influences, conjuring up an endless array of rock music fantasy scenarios: What if The Stone Roses were fronted by Jim Carroll? What if Spiritualized and The Replacements wrote music together? What if The Meat Puppets were a C86 band?
