Winnipeg-based quartet Les Jupes premiered the video for their new single, “Introversion” via WNYC Soundcheck today. The new single is taken off of the band’s upcoming full-length album, which is due to be released this fall. Listen to Introversion above and watch the video here.

Last year, Les Jupes released their US debut Negative Space and then toured in support of their music. The band supported Handsome Furs, Sweden’s Baskery and Mother Mother on tours for Modern Myths. They criss-crossed North America twice and Europe 3 times, showcased at SXSW, CMW, NXNE, Sled Island, Pop Montreal, Reeperbahn and more. Their debut album, Modern Myths came out in 2012 and is described as ” straddling some imaginary line between noise and pop, cascading layers of sound upon peculiar songs with peculiar characters.” The new single Introversion, along with the rest of the upcoming album were recorded in Montreal with producer Marcus Paquin (The National/Stars/Local Natives).
