Lemonade release new video, new LP “Diver” released June 18 on True Panther Sounds

Launch video for “Neptune”

Debut new track “Soft Kiss”

New LP “Diver” released June 18 on True Panther Sounds

Ahead of the release of their sophomore album “Diver” on June 18th through True Panther Sounds, Lemonade are unveiling a new video and track.

The video for “Neptune” is a beautiful and oddly sensual one, complementing the pure and emotional R&B of the track perfectly. “Soft Kiss”, meanwhile, is another scintillating taste of what Mary Anne Hobbs calls “pure, agile, hedonistic pop music”, and taken from an album which finds them in more potent and focused form. Callan’s lyricism reaches new intimate lows and ecstatic highs. Where Lemonade used to seek transcendence through psychedelic dance-floor physicality, Lemonade reference PM Dawn and Sade in the same sentence as Julio Bashmore and Swedish House Mafia. They are sounds of the past synthesized with contemporary dance music bouyed by the most immediate matters of the heart.
