“Know The Feeling” by Halfnoise

HALFNOISE (Zac Farro) is excited to annouce the worldwide release of his “Know the Feeling” music video, which premiered in Australia yesteray via Tone Deaf, and follows the Stereogum premiere of the upbeat indie-pop track.

Against a revolving backdrop of pastel split-screens that are the perfect fit for the track’s bright tones, a tropical-shirt and sunglasses clad Farro jives and croons amongst palm trees and pals, while a simultaneous story-line involving a confused long-distance European lover plays out in a light-hearted absurdist style.

The video is directed by Aaron Joseph, and stars Farro himself, along a few of his real-life friends. “When I initially showed my friends the music they said it made them feel as if they were hanging out with me,” explains Farro, “that was the main inspiration for the video. Using my car, my house plants, my instruments, and my friends we tried to create this world that sort of represented mine, along with a storyline that pulls from the lyrical content. Hence the title…it’s meant to be all about the ‘feeling’.”

A studio album from HALFNOISE is set to be released in the coming months on Congrats! Records globally, and Pilerats Records in Au/NZ.
