After the release of We Are Your Receiver in early July, Klangstof (Koen Van De Wardt) has released the video for the track. Directed by Menno Fokma, who also directed Klangstof’s “Hostage”, the clip perfectly compliments the song’s euphoric sounds. Speaking on the video, Van De Wardt states:

“After our ‘Hostage’ video, I was very eager to work with Menno Fokma again. Already from the beginning of Klangstof, when I was just making demos, Menno was one of my go-to guys for feedback. As a director, his strength is that he immediately sees what he hears. For me that was very inspiring. He sees a video in every note I’ll play.

The video for ‘”We Are Your Receiver” is about how we tend to go way too far when it comes to showcasing ourselves on the internet. This is our view of what chat Roulette will be like in 100 years. People will go extremely far to get attention on the internet. ”

Alongside the release, Klangstof is also announcing a North American tour with Jagwar Ma.
