Kevin Drew Debuts “Mexican Aftershow Party”

KEVIN DREW Premieres his latest single "Mexican Aftershow Party", Announces Select Live Dates starting April 3rd in New York City at Bowery Ballroom.

Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew has premiered “Mexican Aftershow Party,” the second song off of his upcoming solo record entitled Darlings, which comes out March 18 via Arts & Crafts and City Slang.

Darlings is also his first solo album that is truly, to put it bluntly, solo. If Drew’s 2007 effort Spirit If… was his inaugural step beyond the decade-long shadow of his former band, Darlings spotlights Drew with seven years more experience. Darlings reveals a more focused and refined sound; with Drew’s craft concentrated on lyrical and emotional connections, less so than guitar pedals and studio jams.

Today, the first selection of shows in support of Darlings are announced, including a play in New York at Bowery Ballroom on April 3 and a select number of shows with Feist in April including a Halifax show on April 7. Kevin will also be performing solo and with Broken Social Scene at Field Trip in June.
