Jockstrap (Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye) today announced their signing to Rough Trade Records and shared the first single on their new label home ‘50/50’. The London based duo, recently played a headline tour of the UK, and a summer dates with Jamie XX and Floating Points. Other highlights include, appearances supporting Caroline Polachek & Jarvis Cocker. Today, they have shared their new single “50/50.”

Written by Taylor in bed whilst recovering from tonsilitis. “50/50” is the first taste of new music from the duo since the release of 2020’s critically acclaimed Wicked City EP and subsequent Beavercore mixtape, which featured remixed versions and original piano preludes. Those two releases saw Jockstrap catch the attention of Chanel (soundtracking their Fall-Winter 2020/21 Haute Couture collection campaign video), and the admiration of fellow artists Iggy Pop, GFOTY, Kelly Moran, Oneohtrix Point Never, and more.
