Jacques Greene announces his new album, jg, will drop on October 16 via LUCKYME, ahead of the LP’s arrival, the artist has shared new single “Presence.” The track follows “What They Say,” with labelmate umru, and “Closer” with DJ BORING. jg is Greene’s’ first album built unapologetically for the dancefloor. In the midst of personal upheaval and a turbulent world, he found himself returning to the people and places that gave him a sense of purpose, resulting in an album that reaches toward joy and hopefulness. “This record moves away from concepts and follows an intuition for places where I wanted to be and where I would be wanted,” as Jacques puts it.

Greene has collaborated with Bonobo on “Fold”, as well as remixing Radiohead, and producing for Jessy Lanza, Tinashe, and touring with The xx. He kicks off his forthcoming tour on August 8 in Shanghai, China.
