waveform* are releasing their new album, Antarctica, on May 12th via Run For Cover Records, ahead of the album’s arrival, the band have shared the single “In My Drink.” Over the past couple of years, the duo have played shows with Feeble Little Horse, They Are Gutting A Body of Water, Momma, and more.

The band includes songwriters Jarett Denner and Dan Poppa, they have steadily expanded and honed their sound, with each homemade album building on the potential of the last. Antarctica finds the duo fully collaborating for the first time, blurring the line between the two’s strengths to make songs that truly feel like waveform* coming into their own sonic identity. The songs pivot on a dime between hushed indie folk and towering walls of guitar, as Poppa and Denner’s lyrics explore solitude and isolation, evoking vast empty expanses but also moments of diary-like specificity.
