Hum has announced their return, set to co-headline all stops for SLIDE AWAY 2026 – “the festival that celebrates itself,” is returning for its third year. These shows will mark Hum’s first performances since their appearance at the 2019 Dia De Los Deftones festival, and the surprise 2020 release of their LP Inlet.

SLIDE AWAY will stretch across three historic venues – two nights at New York City’s iconic Brooklyn Paramount, one night at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, and two final nights at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Hum will be joined by Philadelphia’s Nothing and British shoegaze band Chapterhouse across all five dates. Each stop will have different supporting acts, including Swirlies, Cloakroom, Ovlov, and more.

Hum’s live comeback also follows the unexpected 2021 passing of drummer Bryan St. Pere, whose singular style and immeasurable contributions alongside the classic lineup of Matt Talbott, Tim Lash, and Jeff Dimpsey, helped shape the band’s iconic sound and enduring impact across an entire generation of artists who cite their influence. For these upcoming dates, touring member Jason Gerken (Shiner, Molly McGuire), who previously filled in for St. Pere during the band’s shows in 2015 and 2018, will be behind the kit.
