Hudson Mohawke and Nikki Nair have teamed up again for an expanded 6-track edition of Set The Roof, released today on Warp Records. The duo are celebrating with sets at fabric in London tonight.

Mohawke’s Healthfarm studio in Echo Park, Los Angeles is back with gusto — after forging THE club weapon of the Summer, Set The Roof, Hud Mo and Nikki Nair return with a vengeance. Having destroyed crowds in their sets and on tracklists of Björk, Elkka, VTSS, Lala, Salute and a chosen few who stole the early demos… videos have proven this unassuming collection of chipmunked rave can nearly collapse rooms and summer festivals alike. “Wait A Minute” sees our heroes dexterously ballet and shuffle around a landmark house acapella, while “Generator” sees the duo flex and cement a cold hard fact — breakbeats & piano are indeed soulmates. Equal parts wistful and cute, the belle of the ball, “Long Ago”, reminds us that summer raves are nearly over but memories are eternal and Dance Dance Revolution is here for us year-round.
