Housewife’s new album You’ll Be Forgiven, will be available via Hazel Street Records/The Orchard. Comprised of singer/songwriters Brighid Fry and Pascale Padilla, Housewife (formerly Moscow Apartment). “You’re Not the Worst”, was co-written with Joe Memmel (COIN) and Gabe Simon (Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey, COIN, mxmtoon) which they say is “one of the more direct and honest songs we’ve written.”

Produced by Simon and mixed by Lars Stalfors (Wallows, Cold War Kids, Soccer Mommy), ‘You’re Not The Worst’ follows the recently released ‘I’m Spent’, and previous singles ‘Patrick Bateman’ and ‘Bones (God Like You).

Of ‘You’re Not The Worst’, Housewife share, “It’s about undervaluing yourself and allowing people who are overbearing and arrogant to affect you emotionally. Why am I spending time with someone who doesn’t respect me or my time? Then finally working up the courage to cut them out of your life when you’ve had enough.”

You’ll Be Forgiven represents a more experienced and sonically sophisticated iteration of the band. The album includes additional co-writes with Derek Hoffman and RALPH (I’m Spent), Hank Compton and Savannah Conley (Patrick Bateman) and Jackson Phillips of Day Wave (Bones (God Like You)), which helped the duo refine their voices and sound. The new music follows their 2017 self-titled debut EP and their follow-up 2020 EP Better Daughter.
