"High School" Maus Haus

San Francisco/Oakland band Maus Haus, shares new music for the first time in six years with their double-A side single, “High School / White Kids” via 30th Century Records. This marks the band’s debut on Danger Mouse’s label and a return to form after 2012’s EP, Light Noise. Maus Haus is known for their oddball songwriting, grungy approach and lysergic hooks. “High School” further explores the band’s affinity for the far-out.

A typical Maus Haus song is contradictory layers of too-weird synthesizers, sound collage, and polyrhythms wrapped in alternate visions of shiny pop futurism. Maus Haus is from Oakland and San Francisco. They have performed at the Treasure Island Music Festival, & several iterations of Noise Pop, as well as sharing the stage with Dengue Fever, Generationals, the Dodos, & Black Moth Super Rainbow on U.S. tour dates.
