mercury has returned with her new single “Heaven,” the track is a reunites Mercury with Alex Farrar (Wednesday, Hotline TNT). “Heaven is about having a hard time leaving things in the past. It’s about wanting to move on but at the same time, not being able to stop thinking about all of the good things you had with the people, person or place you’re trying to move away from. It’s my effort to capture the feeling of throwing your hands up and surrendering to the outcome, but not being able to get out of its grasp. The world keeps on spinning and the feeling never goes away,” says Mercury on the track.

In other news, mercury has just announced another full-length North American tour for early 2026 that starts off in late February, she’ll hit the road with Tennessee band Colony House for an 18-date run that caps off with a hometown show at The Pinnacle in Nashville on March 28th.

mercury is the project of Nashville artist Maddie Kerr. Last month saw her release a reimagined version of flipturn’s song “Right?” from the latter’s album Burnout Days. This past summer, she dropped “Justin’s Headed Out,” the track follows EP & short film Together We Are One, You And I, the late-2024 trilogy of songs called Swarm The Hive Mind EP, and the single “Faster.”
