Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith announces the GUSH Remixes, a collection of reworked tracks from her 2025 LP GUSH, which was released last August. Kaitlyn described GUSH as “an invitation to experience the genius of everything. Every object, every moment, every sensation offers an opportunity for awe, discovery, deeper understanding.” Today, the electronic artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist unveils a new remix project.

In other news, Kaitlyn will head out on a 20226 headline tour this spring, starting with Elsewhere in Brooklyn on April 3rd and London at the Barbican Theatre on May 23rd

The remix features collaborations with friends and Hot Chip member Joe Goddard, electronic-R&B artist MAFRO, and New Zealand songwriter Kimbra, who remixed the album’s title track, released today. Smith, recently released her album Thoughts on the Future, in December 2025. It continues a string of releases that started with GUSH last year.

Smith is a classically trained American composer, performer, and producer from the Pacific Northwest. Since her first self-release in 2012 (Tides), she has explored and experimented with numerous electronic instruments and the relationship between sound, shape, color, body movement, on albums EARS (2016), The Kid (2017), The Mosaic of Transformation (2020), I Could Be Your Dog/I Could Be Your Moon (2022), Let’s Turn It Into Sound (2022), and most recently GUSH (2025) and Thoughts on the Future (2025).
