Gordi kicked off her first ever North American headline tour last night at Sasquatch! Music Festival. Her debut EP, Clever Disguise, is out now digitally via Jagjaguwar and the physical version will be available to purchase at all club dates ahead of its July 8th release. With the start of tour, Gordi has unveiled a video for her excellent new single, “Nothing’s As It Seems,” via Stereogum. It follows standout EP tracks “Can We Work It Out” and “So Here We Are.” The candor in Gordi’s songs is matched by a vocal tone that is at once fractured and brimming with richness. Combining vintage vocal layering and earthy guitar textures with delicate modern electronic production, Gordi’s sonic palette is one she can call her own.
