Triples, the project of multi-artist Eva Link, recently announced their signing to Bleak Enterprise for their new EP Every Good Story, due for release on January 30th. The band was initially founded as a duo with Eva’s sister Madeline, known for her project PACKS, which began demanding more of her time, Eva reimagined Triples as her own endeavor. Today, Triples have returned with new single from their EP, entitled “Gonna Be Good.”

Eva Link on “Gonna Be Good”:

I was in a down and anxious state of mind, but I didn’t want to write a song about it. I thought that, by writing about it directly, I would be commemorating it, plus overthinking it all was just plain exhausting. I was indignant towards these feelings of doubt and feeling guilty for no reason – I wanted to have power over them. I wanted to fight back against these annoying feelings so they’d just go away. (It’s obviously not that simple, but it felt cathartic to firmly decide “this time I’m gonna be good”).
