“Ghost” By Fly Anakin Feat: Nickelus F

Fresh off of his European tour run with Pink Siifu & Negro 6′, Fly Anakin is sharing his new single “Ghost” today. Joined by 106 & Park’s seven-time ‘Freestyle Friday’ champion Nickelus F, Anakin’s latest offering finds the two Richmond natives trading verses over crisp production from Like (of Pac Div). The single arrives accompanied with a black and white video shot and directed by No Fun (Tahjee Wallace & DuctTapeJesus) showing Anakin and Nickelus F rapping in front of an industrial power plant and caught in a spotlight as cash flutters through the air.

“Ghost” marks the second release from Anakin this Fall after his first single “Sean Price,” an ode to Brooklyn rapper Sean Price who was a formative musical influence for him. These two new songs open up a new musical chapter for Anakin and set the tone for his forthcoming new LP, slated for release via Lex Records in early 2022.

The new singles follows Anakin’s self-produced EP Pixote and joint album with Pink Siifu FlySiifu’s and their followup $mokebreak EP, continuing his prolific run of solo and collaborative releases at the core of the Richmond, VA collective Mutant Academy.
