Milwaukee-born, Brooklyn-based indie electro-funk duo French Horn Rebellion will release Classically Trained on October 14 via Ensemble Records. Their self-produced full length follows 2015’s Foolin Around EP. The new album includes tracks “Foolin’ Around”, “Day by Day” and “Classical Baby”.

“Life Choices (w/ LEFTI)” is the duo’s first original collaboration with NY’s nu-disco artist LEFTI (aka Alex Suarez, ex-Cobra Starship).

LEFTI explains, “Collaborating with FHR on “Life Choices” was such a great time. Experimenting with each other’s production styles was a really cool way to truly mix our sound. I am more than honored to be a part of their album.” The respect is certainly mutual as the band profess, “We have been, and still are, such fans of LEFTI’s work- whether it be originals or remixes. He has a unique touch that rides the line between house and disco oh so gently. We love Alex and are so excited to bring you this track!”

French Horn Rebellion is comprised of siblings Robert Perlick-Molinari, former member of the Chicago Civic Orchestra, DJ and indie remixer du jour (Beyoncé, Sia) and David Perlick-Molinari, producer of MGMT and owner of Brooklyn studio YouTooCanWoo.
