Florence Welch, aka: Florence + the Machine, will release her new album Everybody Scream on October 31. Today, the UK artist, has revealed the LP’s title-track along with a video directed by Autumn de Wilde.

Welch wrote and produced the album over the past two years with a close-knit circle of collaborators including Aaron Dessner, Mitski, and Mark Bowen of IDLES, who appears in the video for “Everybody Scream.”

After needing lifesaving surgery on the Dance Fever Tour, Florence’s recovery took her down the path of spiritual mysticism, witchcraft and folk horror as she felt the limits of her body and explored what it means to be “healed”. The album treads through womanhood, partnership, aging and dying; exposing the murky in the mundane.

Welch has released five albums, including Lungs, Ceremonials, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful High As Hope and 2022’s Dance Fever. Known for her live shows and unique voice, the artist has headlined festivals around the world. She has collaborated and shared stages with The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift and many more. Welch has also published a book of lyrics, poetry and drawings, Useless Magic. More mews coming soon.
