FKi 1st reveals project on Mad Decent

FKi 1st reveals new project '1st time for everything' on Mad Decent. The EP drops on May 20th and features NJOMZA. FKi 1st will be at Coachella 2016.

FKi 1st has announced he’ll release 1st Time For Everything on May 20th via Mad Decent. The producer, songwriter, DJ and half of the FKi prodution team from ATL is best known for discovering Post Malone and co-producing “White Iverson”, as well as the 2 Chainz song “Watch Out”, amongst others. Now FKi 1st delivers an eclectic compilation of his own songs with this 6 song release and a new video for his song “For What It’s Worth” featuring Mac Miller-associate NJOMZA.

FKi (Fuckin Kickin It) caught the attention of label head Diplo in 2011, who helped introduce them to the world via their Transformers In The Hood mixtape. Since then FKi has been tapped for production by everyone from Jeremih and Travis Scott to CL and Ty Dolla Sign. With this release, FKi 1st recruited viral hitmakers Post Malone, Makonnen and NJOMZA and newcomers Danny Seth and Elkka, to create a body of work that features his production as well as his songwriting and smooth vocals. 1st Time For Everything also pays tribute to a friend, the recently passed ATL rapper Bankroll Fresh.
