Fever Ray aka Karin Dreijer has dropped “What They Call Us (Nifra Remix),” a new twist of their Radical Romantics album track, now available via Mute Records. The track follows the Document Journal of their There’s No Place I’d Rather Be Tour.

“What They Call Us (Nifra Remix)” kicks off an extensive program of Radical Romantics remixes. Nifra, the International Dance Music Awards-nominated DJ and producer, comments, “I was inspired by the haunting vibe of the original and created an edgy, energetic trance remix that has been going off on all of my live shows.” Forthcoming remixes will see Dreijer tap an exciting array of rising electronic talent, including LSDXOXO, VTSS, Avalon Emerson, Logic1000, and more.

Radical Romantics, Dreijer presents their struggle with the myth of love. Fever Ray first started on Radical Romantics in fall 2019, working in the Stockholm studios built with brother and fellow The Knife member Olof Dreijer who eventually joined in on working on the album. Other co-producers and performers include Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the experimental artist and producer Vessel, Portuguese DJ and producer Nídia, Aasthma, and more.
