UK band FEET debut their new music video for “Petty Thieving,” off their debut album What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham will be available via the band’s imprint Clapped Records on October 4th. The song has been a fan favourite since the band burst on to the scene at the end of 2017, and the new studio version captures the blustering swagger and raucous energy emblematic of the band. “Petty Thieving is an example of masterful songwriting and immeasurable levels of maturity from a band consisting of 3 scholars, a well-informed brummie and a master student from the university of life” explains frontman George. “It would be modest to say this song isn’t the greatest jangly, baggy, fidgety guitar song of the decade, but modesty is for indie bands. What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham was produced by Cam Blackwood (Jamie T, London Grammar, Billie Marten etc) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Foals, Interpol, Beach House). The songs on the album were written by the band during their ‘Barn Sessions’, during which the band, in-between festivals and shows this summer, rehearsed and lived in a working barn in the middle of a farm in Bedfordshire. Camping, hanging out with local farmers, and living off the land for six weeks, FEET spent all day and night writing and rehearsing a slew of new songs, which will make up their forthcoming debut. The band is currently on the road, playing a number of sold-out dates across the UK, earning a reputation for their hugely entertaining live performances.
