This morning, Drew Lustman aka FaltyDL released his latest track “Some Jazz Shit.” The track off his upcoming record In The Wild, the song can be heard below. FaltyDL has made this track available along side the second video in his “In The Wild” video project. A collaboration with British artist Chris Shen examining the spatial and technological reproduction of sound and video, the video features music from FaltyDL’s “Greater Antillies Part 2.” Viewers of their short films are encouraged to film their screens as they watch and upload the result to the “In The Wild” video timeline at http://faltydl.com/inthewild, thus taking FaltyDL’s music out into the wild. In The Wild will be released on August 12th via Ninja Tune. Over the summer, FaltyDL will tour Japan, Europe and the U.S.

Drew Lustman, aka FaltyDL, was born and grew up in New Haven, Connecticut. These days he lives in Brooklyn, New York. Releasing music for Planet Mu, Ramp, Rush Hour, 50 Weapons, Hemlock, Swamp81, his own Blueberry Records imprint and, of course, Ninja Tune, he has recorded three albums prior to In the Wild (Love Is A Liability, You Stand Uncertain and Hardcourage). He has also toured with James Blake; opened for Radiohead; and remixed for the likes of Seun Kuti, Photek, The xx and Disclosure.
