Erika de Casier returns with a new single and video for “Ice,” featuring They hate Change. The track is off the multi-artist’s forthcoming album Still, available February 21st via 4AD.

“ice” marks the first collaboration in de Casier’s discography, and what a marvelous first showing. For the three-minute cut de Casier moonlights as the duo’s third member, flipping a classic hip-hop trope (“Ice–you put it all on me,” she sings) into a comment on a frustratingly noncommittal person. The song follows previously-released single “Lucky” and arrives alongside a self-directed and edited video by de Casier.

In addition to the single, de Casier is also announcing a North American tour that’ll bring Still to some of her biggest venues yet. Beginning March 26th in Montreal, she’ll play nine shows across North America including stops in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, and more, before concluding April 9th in San Francisco. She’ll then head to the desert to play both weekends of Coachella on the 13th and 20th.

The South Carolina-based artist Contour will support on select dates, his latest album, 2022’s Onwards!. General on-sale begins this Friday, February 9th, at 10AM local time and a Spotify presale will take place the day before, February 8th, from 10AM to 11:59PM local time.
