Singer/songwriter Elle Graham, the artist behind Woodes, has shared her brooding new single “Forever After,” along with a video. Directed by Nick Mckk, the visual companion takes her fans on an adventurous hike through, The Grampians, one of Australia’s most renowned national parks, exploring the wilderness, mountains, and greenery. “Forever After” is charming, wistful, and vulnerable as Graham’s vocals take one on a journey through a personal relationship to discovering love after loss and trials of grieving. Woodes music creates a universe with each release that intertwine her love for music, visual art, fashion, and beyond. “Forever After” is now available on all digital platforms here.

Elle shares, “I wrote ‘Forever After’ about love and the process of moving on, alongside grief. I started writing this at the start of 2022, after the breakdown of a relationship. I packed my things and moved interstate. ‘Forever After’ was the thought that I wouldn’t want to erase the love or the story; they’re a part of me forever. Personally, I was rebuilding everything around me, including my relationship with music after the time in the pandemic. I found myself playing piano again, writing songs to heal. I found myself hiking and returning to nature, starting to reconnect with myself. I’m so proud of the process. It feels like my most personal work.”

Woodes released her self-titled debut EP in 2016, gaining fans in Australia. Since then, she’s toured with Thelma Plum, Asgier, and Sylvan Esso and appeared at multiple festivals, including Splendour in the Grass, SXSW & Beyond the Valley, amongst headline tours of her own. Her cinematic 2018 EP Golden Hour spawned two triple j favorites, “Dots” and “Run For It,” both arriving on the back of the hugely popular collaboration with Set Mo – “I Belong Here
