Dilly Dally share Video Game and Sore Stream

Dilly Dally are releasing a video game where you can listen to their album, Sore, a week early while you play an NES-style sim. The game and album stream will be live at 11am Today at dillydallyband.com.

The game will include backstory of how the four characters – members of Dilly Dally with code names, like guitarist Liz Ball as “Blizzard,” and lead vocalist and guitarist Katie Monks as “Katie Hunks” – have survived the apocalypse.

It’s not rocket science – you can use the band’s avatars to defeat the “Gross Purple Dude” (Katie’s choice of villain name) by draining his health before yours, Mortal Kombat-style. Winning entails “the glorious (albeit temporary) quenching of your insatiable blood lust” while listening to the record a week early.

Sore is out October 9 on Partisan.

Dilly Dally are playing CMJ and will then be going on tour in Oct & Nov.
