Denmark’s Yung Share New Track “God”

Denmark's Yung Share New Track "God" from their EP 'Alter' the new EP will be available on a limited edition 12”.

Ahead of the release of their new EP, “These Thoughts Are Like Mandatory Chores,” out September 18th through Tough Love and Fat Possum, Denmark’s Yung are now sharing their latest cut, “God.” Taken from the aforementioned EP, “God” follows the band announcing their signing to Fat Possum in the U.S, and Tough Love globally.

Hailing from Aarhus – Denmark’s second city, a huge port, university town and ideal place to find like minds amid the industrial grit – and led by 21-year-old frontman and songwriter Mikkel Holm Silkjær, Along with bandmates Frederik Nybo Veilie (drums), Tobias Guldborg Tarp (bass) and Emil Zethsen (guitar), Silkjær shares a DIY mentality that has resulted in “These Thoughts Are Like Mandatory Chores,” combining raw, snarling corkscrews of feedback that find the Danish rockers branching off from the same family tree that birthed The Replacements and Cloud Nothings.

With their “Alter” EP and single “Blanket” both selling out on vinyl immediately, the new EP will be available on a limited edition 12”, with the first 150 on green vinyl.
