Today, Militarie Gun and Richmond’s Dazy share the remix of their collaborative track, Pressure Cooker, featuring additional vocals from Mannequin Pussy vocalist, Missy. The reimagined version of the track – courtesy of Dazy’s James Goodson – dials up the original’s Manchester influence in addition to Missy’s newly-added vocals.

Militarie Gun embarks on their West Coast tour at the end of this month and throughout February with support from Supercrush, Spiritual Cramp and Death Lens on select dates. Starting March 2, Militarie Gun will begin their tour supporting White Reaper across North America with stops in Denver, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto and Nashville.

Formed in 2020, Militarie Gun is defined by the musical project of vocalist Shelton. The band–whose lineup has expanded to include guitarists Nick Cogan and Acuña, drummer Vince Nguyen, and bassist Max Epstein–draw on a wide range of influences to make something that sounds combative yet accessible, and undeniably their own. Co-produced, engineered and mixed by Taylor Young, there are echos of the unhinged guitarwork of Born Against, the propulsive cadences of hip hop, the up-front bass of Fugazi–and most importantly, the hooks. Militarie Gun’s songs are instantly memorable, employing a melodic sensibility that’s just as informed by the work of Robert Pollard and Paul McCartney as it is by Black Flag. Most recently, the band released All Roads Lead To The Gun (Deluxe) in October of 2022 through their new label Loma Vista Recordings.

Goodson started Dazy as a one-man band from his Richmond, VA, home in 2020. His debut album, OUTOFBODY, was released on October 28, 2022, via Lame-O Records (with a cassette version available via Convulse Records).
