Crystal Castles announces new LP Amnesty (I)

Crystal Castles announces new LP Amnesty (I), the full-length comes out on August 19th via Last Gang Records.

Crystal Castles have announced their fourth studio album, Amnesty (I), which will be available on August 19th via Last Gang Records. The band have also shared their new single, “Char”, which is now available to stream.

Following visual previews of new songs, “Femen”, and “Concrete”, Char is the first single to be unveiled from the forthcoming record, the follow up to their 2012 release III. An electronic lullaby that is both hard-hitting and tender at the same time, with poignant vocals from Edith Frances.

The twelve tracks on Amnesty (I) explores the sonic and atmospheric range that we have learned to expect from a Crystal Castles record. From gothic electronic paeans to distorted digital raves, from cinematic synth and noise crescendos to hip hop and trap infused synth pop.

In support of the album, Crystal Castles have announced a run of European and US live dates (see full list below). Having played only a small handful of shows in the past two years.
