Courtney Barnett, the unstoppable singer-songwriter, released her song entitled, “Smile Real Nice”, which serves as the theme song for “Harriet the Spy,” new Apple Original series for kids and families that will premiere November 19, and marks the first animated adaptation of the iconic children’s novel chronicling the coming-of-age adventures of the irrepressible Harriet M. Welsch. The single was released under her Mom+Pop record label and is also available via stream.

Produced by The Jim Henson Company, “Harriet the Spy” stars acclaimed actor Beanie Feldstein as Harriet, a fiercely independent and adventurous 11-year-old girl, alongside Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch as Ole Golly, Harriet’s larger-than-life, no-nonsense nanny. The first half of the series (five episodes) debuts on Apple TV+ on Friday, November 19, 2021, and the second half will return with additional episodes in spring 2022.

Courtney Barnett will be releasing her highly anticipated new album Things Take Time, Take Take next month. In support of the new album Courtney has announced an extensive North American tour, all dates are listed below.
